Kate's 4th Birthday and First day of Preschool!!

Sunday the 31st was Kate's 4th birthday! She has been so excited to be 4 because that's when she gets to start preschool! We had a BBQ at Grandma and Grandpa's house and also celebrated Meg's 23rd birthday (sept 2). She was being a bit of a stinker and wouldn't smile for any of my pictures! She is definitely my stubbornest child! She wouldn't let anyone help her open anything because she had to do it all by herself. But she got lots of fun toys and went out to lunch with Mom and Dad the next day!

Today was also her first day of preschool. She is in a class with her cousin Landon and they get to sit by each other. She was so excited she wanted to walk in all by herself-but she finally decided to let Jeff go with her!

Gabe's first day of Kindergarten

Gabe started Kindergarten last Tuesday the 26th.

He has been excited all summer long!

He was a little disappointed that we live too close for him to ride a bus.

But the fact that he can ride his bike to school makes up for it. Adam also loves that we get to ride bikes!

So far he loves his teacher and has made a friend (he can't ever remember his name) and loves to play on the monkey bars at recess!!

Birthday pics

Here are Adam and Kate's free birthday portraits from Kiddie Kandids. They weren't really cooperating but the pics still turned out cute. Kate kept her lips clamped tight together and was trying with all her might not to smile. The girl finally had her blow on the featherduster she was tickling her with and we got a smile!

Adam wouldn't let the girl pose him and wouldn't smile at her either. She finally talked to him about Spiderman and that made him happy. Although, I was really sad that you couldn't really see Adam's dimples.

Yesterday was Adam's 2nd birthday.

Since Jeff was out of town, we had his party over the 4th of July (along with Nate's 30th bday)!

I can't believe he is already 2! He has got to be our funniest kid and he knows it! He is usually happy and stares at you with his big bright blue eyes and his beautiful long eye lashes!

I also never got around to posting any firework pics, so here they are. The kids loved sparklers and are very excited for the 24th (pioneer day) when we get to do some more!!

Jeff's 30th birthday!

So I finally borrowed a USB cord for our camera...and here are some pics to commemorate Jeff's 30th birthday-which was May 16th!

I made him that awesome pirate hat cake and he went on a treasure hunt with the kids to find his presents-a new set of golf clubs, golf balls, tees and a shirt. I know it was only last month but I can't exactly remember what he got or what we did for fun to celebrate his birthday. But I do know that he had a good day and is ready to leave his twenties behind!!
